Update Nov 13, 2009: The Snow Leopard fix has been released. See this for more information!
According to this tweet by @ScanSnapIT (Fujitsu’s official ScanSnap Twitter account), the fix for the ScanSnap with OSX Snow Leopard issues will be available at the end of November.
They give a link to go to to get emailed when there are updates, but that link doesn’t seem to work. Here is the correct one: https://www-s.fujitsu.com/us/services/computing/peripherals/scanners/sl_form.html .
Of course, we’ll also let you know about any updates too so stay tuned.
Thanks to DocumentSnap user BoilingConcrete (great name) for the tip.

As my pile of papers to scan grows, I CAN'T BELIEVE how long Fujitsu is planning to take to get this technically simple fix out. Unbelievable and unacceptable. Another great project made mediocre by poor support.
Without any doubt the next scanner will be chosen wisely. Absolutely unacceptable the Fujitsu customer support for mac os. Because I need abbyy finereader ocr this is the only software keeping me from updating. Fujitsu: poor service.
Totally agree with the previous complaints, there is really no excuse. The beta of Snow Leopard was out for more than a year – ample time for Fujitsu to test its software and have everything operating at the OS release. I get the impression that they wanted to see how many people complain until they reacted, after Snow Leopard came out. I'm just holding on because I really like this piece of hardware.
As the owner of three now totally useless Fi-5110EOX scanners I am outraged at the lack of support by Fujitsu. If I can't find a solution this will be last of their products at my offices.
NEVER will buy another Fujitsu again, because of how they screwed up the drivers on the Mac. It's December and still waiting, simply unbelievable.
Hi, which model are you still waiting for drivers for? Some of the newer ones have been released. http://www.documentsnap.com/fujitsu-scansnap-upda…
