I just returned from a trip, so I thought it would be a good time to record a short video showing how I capture receipts while on the road.
I try to capture the receipts as soon as possible – sometimes even right there at the table.
Then I let my app of choice organize them and I do light processing when I have time. Sometimes in my hotel room in the evening, and sometimes even when I am waiting in line somewhere.
This video shows how I do this using Expensify and Genius Scan.
