Video: Evernote PDF Markup, Rotation, and Annotation Summary

A few days ago, Evernote released an update (5.4.3 if you’re counting) for Mac that includes some nice new features that have flown under the radar. They aren’t in the Windows version yet, but hopefully soon.

They are:

You can rotate or delete specific pages from an attached PDF, right from within Evernote.
When you are annotating/marking up an attached PDF, you can generate a nice summary of all of the annotations.

I made a little video that shows how they work.

Is there any way to hide the annotations summary? It’s showing my last 4 or 5 edits and I would just rather look at my PDF document without having to scroll past all those annotation summaries or opening up in a new window.

You should also explain how to undo and delete an annotation. It seems impossible to me. There's no eraser button… Eeek 😮

Hi Martin, good point. I will but if you click up in the top right, I seem to remember there is a clear markup button. I'll do further instructions in a followup post. -Brooks
