Video: Find Your Documents Using Alfred

AlfredOne of my favorite applications on my Mac is Alfred. I use it all day every day, and it is impossible for me to believe that I have only posted once about it in all of DocumentSnapdom.

There is a lot (and I mean a lot) that it can do, but this video covers how you can easily find documents and then do basic manipulation, all using the keyboard.

View the video below, or click here to watch it on YouTube. If you are able to, I recommend that you watch it with HD turned on.

This video on finding files with Alfred is part of a series of quick videos on paperless tips and topics. View more in the series here.

Not a big fan; Maybe I'm doing something wrong-This new Video reminded me I tried using Alfred before. I purchased the Powerpack prior to trying out the free features… Big mistake. Alfred is nothing more than a dressed up Spotlight in my opinion. In fact, Spotlight sometimes does a better job. For example, it won't find certain files in Evernote or ANY encrypted Archive files on my Mac with some Default Results checked off (it will only find Evernote files with 'Unintelligent' checked, but this prevents Alfred from finding other files/applications or contacts-However, still nothing from my encrypted Disk Image). I like the concept and it seems to work for Brooks, but no luck here… Support is minimal. I tried reindexing as per their website to no avail…
