Did you know that today is World Paper Free Day?
Well, now you do. Organized by AIIM, World Paper Free Day is their annual event focused on helping us think about the paper that we use in our lives and organizations, and think about how we can cut back.
On their main event page, there is a link to an interesting document called the Paper-Free Process Revolution Handbook, and there are other resources as well:
- There’s a Facebook Event and a Facebook Group
- There’s a LinkedIn Event
- There’s lots of activity on the WPFD Twitter hashtag
Taken from the aforementioned Revolution Handbook, here are some things that you can think about for World Paper Free Day:
- Can you commit to not printing anything for today?
- Can you commit to taking a look at a business process or technology that can cut the paper waste in your office?
What are some things that you can do to cut down on your use of paper? Today’s not a bad day to give it some thought.
