Awesome DocumentSnap reader Simon dropped me an e-mail to point out the MacUpdate March 2013 that is currently going on.
If you’re not sure what a bundle is, it is when a bunch of software developers get together and offer a number of applications together for a low price that is often lower than just one of the programs. It is typically only available for a limited time.
The reason Simon pointed it out to me, and the reason I want to let you know about it, is because of two of the included applications:
- DEVONthink Pro – The very popular Mac document (or rather, information) management program. It is normally $80, so that alone makes the $49.95 bundle potentially worth it.
- Prizmo – This is an OCR application that I have heard good things about, but I have not tried myself as of yet. It’s normally $50 on its own.
There are 8 other applications in the bundle, but these are the two (except maybe Parallels) that are the most relevant to the DocumentSnap audience. If you’re a Mac user and are considering DEVONthink, this might be an opportunity to snap it up at a good price.
