Since yesterday’s gift was a desktop document scanner, I’ll be you can guess what today’s will be. That’s right, a home document scanner!

I called it a home scanner for lack of a better term. Basically, it is a category in between a full desktop scanner and a true mobile scanner.

If you don’t require the scanning capacity of a large desktop scanner, or want something a little cheaper, this category can make a lot of sense. For example, I have a ScanSnap S1300.
