Given recent events, I thought I should cover some cloudless ways to synchronize documents.
One piece of software that keeps coming up is GoodSync. I’m going to be digging into GoodSync over the next little while, but since I am on vacation this week and my wife will hit me over the head with a sand shovel if I make videos on holiday, I will post this helpful video by George Holt.
Watch the video below, or click here to watch it on Vimeo.
Do you synchronize your documents without using the cloud? I’d love to hear how in the comments.

Thank you for this presentation, I just tried goodsync and I LOVE it! Thanks again!
Awesome! I need to give it a good run-through too, so feel free to let me know what you like/don't like about it.<p style=”color: #A0A0A8;”>
I sync my data onto numerous redundant hard drives both internal & external, as well as onto 3 different cloud services. I refuse to lose any data ever again. I have used GoodSync since the beginning & it wok great.
This is a huge $ saver in today's economy… compared to all of the insane online backup & cloud fees out there! Thnx for the great info!
