How To Encrypt Your Evernote Notes

UPDATE: To learn how to encrypt the actual Evernote database and not just the text inside a note, see these posts:

As I had mentioned in a previous post, I love Evernote for note taking, web clipping, info I need to have handy, etc. However, I haven’t been using them for my document storage like I know a number of people are.

Evernote has one cool security feature that I wasn’t aware of: you can encrypt your notes! I am not sure if this is a new thing or if I just had never noticed it before, but Evernote has just posted a video on how to do it. Check it out below.

Do any of you use Evernote for your document storage? Do you use the encryption features at all?

I’ve been considering it, but I’d like a seamless method of going from ScanSnap into Evernote. Haven’t tried too hard to figure it out yet, so maybe it’s easier than I think.

That is stupid. Why don't they just have the entire notebook encrypted with a pass phrase??
