Focus On The Process

Focus On The Process

Daniel Gold ProcessDaniel Gold, who is (among many things) the author of Evernote: The Unofficial Guide To Capturing Everything and Getting Things Done recently did a talk for MortgageCoach.com, and posted the slides up on SlideShare.

The talk is Focus On The Process and Not the Tools. There’s no audio, but you get the gist by reading the slides.

Though the focus is on productivity tools and not going paperless specifically, I really like this talk, and the concepts are applicable.

We spend so much time hunting for the perfect app, when we would be better off focusing on what has worked for us in the past, and what are the few things that need to be there for a system to work for each of us.

You can either view the slides on SlideShare, or I have embedded them below.
