Which ScanSnap Should I Buy?

For The Office

The ScanSnap eliminates clutter by turning double-sided documents into searchable PDFs, and turns business cards into contacts. It lets you manage your business, not manage paper.  For office use I recommend the S1500 series. The S1500 is for Windows and the S1500M is for Mac.

They are a bit more heavy-duty for office use than the S300 series, are much faster, can hold 50 sheets at a time instead of just 10, and come with more software such as the full version of Adobe Acrobat and ABBYY FineReader, which enables the user to scan documents directly to applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel® and PowerPoint (only the Windows version can scan to Powerpoint).
